Bio:

Amanda is passionate about healing, empowering, and educating children and their families to navigate and engage in the world while feeling loved, confident, and successful. Her professional and spiritual paths have become increasingly interwoven, bringing together nearly twenty years of experience as a pediatric speech-language pathologist with the yogic and shamanic traditions.

She provides alternative education & speech-language therapy to children with language and learning differences, brain injury, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She holds a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from Southwest Texas State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a registered yoga teacher at the 200-hour level, has completed the Radiant Child Children’s Yoga training (95 hours), and is a Master Reiki Practitioner.

Amanda is a Mesa Carrier in the Q’ero tradition and studied Energy Medicine with Christina Allen at Austin Shamanic Center. Amanda loves learning from her wise and hilarious almost 6-year-old son, as well as the amazing children she sees daily.
