Veronica Goodchild, PhD., is Professor Emerita at Pacifica Graduate Institute where she taught Jungian and Imaginal Psychology for 16 years. She has been a Jungian psychotherapist for over 35 years, and is an Affiliate Member of the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts. Veronica is the author of two books, most recently Songlines of the Soul: Pathways to a New Vision for a New Century, which explores the emergence of the subtle world in our time in both personal and collective ways.
In recent years, Veronica has been guided by her dreams to visit sacred sites, and has made journeys to Egypt, Peru, the sacred landscapes of the U.K., and Black Madonna and Mary Magdalene sanctuaries in France and Northern Spain. Led by her grief over our environmental crisis, Veronica made two pilgrimage walks on the the Camino de Santiago in SW France. This drew her to two shamanic paths, one of which is The Path of Pollen in the U.K., and ancient European indigenous tradition based on the symbolism and ife of Bees. Such traditions help deepen our connection to the spirit of nature and to that imaginal and energetic world between psyche and cosmos, where the elemental and hidden universe becomes alive.
Each Autumn, Veronica initiates the Mary Magdalene and Path of the Blue Rose Pilgrimage in Southwest France and Northern Spain, based on a dream of the Chalice of the Grail, a Journey that is offered again this Fall. In addition, in May 2018 she co-led an Initiatory Journey to Crete and mainland Greece titled, "In the Footsteps of the Goddess", with friend and colleague Svetlana Meritt.
